Imagery group open to anyone. Good introduction for anyone exploring imagery work for the first time. Several attenders see it as a regular support group that enables them to keep in touch with their inner creativity.
Opens with people sharing, if they wish, what is happening in their lives. Then guided relaxation. Then a guided imagery journey usually initiated by inviting an animal to come in imagery. A story unfolds from the interaction of the individual with the animal or whatever image appears. The journey lasts about 20 minutes. Afterwards, journeyers share, if they wish, their imagery experience with the group.
Venue: Quakers, 10 Hampson St., Kelvin Grove, Brisbane
Cost: Free first night. Then. $25 or, if low income, suggested $15 or appropriate donation.
